The Falcon and The Winter Soldier dropped its second trailer during Super Bowl 2021. Super Bowl has always been special for trailer drops like this in the past. Now,the MCU dropped the second trailer of the most awaited series. Originally, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was supposed to be the first series of the MCU, but the Coronavirus delayed its shooting, making WandaVision its first series. However, now that it is here, let’s relish the moment.
Trailer analysis of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
So far, the two trailers have hinted at a massive action-packed series. The events of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier take place after Avengers: Endgame. Cap passed over his Shield to Sam. He wanted Sam to continue the legacy of what the Shield represented. Sam and Bucky talk about how people need a symbol to believe in. The world needs someone to honour Captain America’s beliefs and continue the fight against evil.
Check out the first trailer here-
You’ll see The Falcon soaring high to fight off the evil. Can Sam embed Cap’s ideals and be the new face of Marvel as The Falcon?
In the second trailer, we see Bucky and Sam having a hard time getting along with each other. They even consult a therapist who declares them children. Captain America brought Sam and Bucky together. They’ve different methods, but they also have an unspoken brotherly bond. You’ll see them teasing each other. The second trailer also gave a glimpse of Sharon Carter(Emily VanCamp) and Baron Zemo( Daniel Brühl).
You might remember them from Captain America: Civil War. Baron broke off the Avengers into two teams. He took advantage of their vulnerability and split Iron Man and Captain apart. He used Bucky to trigger the war that ripped apart The Avengers. How will Bucky respond here? Baron was responsible for a massive brawl. Will Bucky look past his mistakes to focus on the new evil in town? Sharon also played Cap’s love interest briefly and a well-trained S.H.I.E.L.D agent. She is seen fighting here too.

The trailer also showed how someone believes that superheroes shouldn’t exist. But, why? Previously, the entire Avengers team risked their lives several times to save the world. Nat gave her life so that they could reverse the snap. Iron Man took the fall so that he could beat Thanos. Still, why does someone believe that the world doesn’t need superheroes? Will Sharon team up with the duo to save the world from this catastrophe?
