If you’re a fan of teenage rom-com, you’re probably familiar with the “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” franchise. Netflix has a plethora of franchises, but this has got to be one of the most popular ones. After a hugely successful second part, To All The Boys: P.S. I Love You, Netflix is all set to release the third one, To All The Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean.

The Plot of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Lara Jean(Lana Condor), a simple girl with a love-struck heart wrote 5 letters for 5 of her crushes. She admired all of them so much at a certain point in her life. But, she never had the courage to send out those letters. To save her from her misery, years later when Lara Jean is all grown up, her sister sends out all those letters with the hope that her sister might get a boyfriend.

To Lara’s horror, Peter Kavinsky(Noah Centineo), the school heartthrob, and one of her crushes, bump into her while running. He tells her that he can’t be with her because he is already dating her ex-best friend. But, as fate had it, the two found each other’s company extremely fascinating. A school trip resulted in Lara and Peter ends up in a hot tub and that video getting leaked. Though that controversy left scars, Lara and Peter realised that they’re inseparable. Amidst all the chaos, they developed feelings for each other.

The second movie shows a happy couple. But things in paradise doesn’t last forever. To complicate things up, one of the letter receivers and Lara’s crush, John Ambrose( Jordan Fisher) writes back. At a very young age, Lara felt something deep towards John. The two start meeting more frequently than ever. It leads to a string of fights between Peter and Lara. Lara Jean kept on wondering if Peter is the right one for her. Even though Lara Jean had a soft corner for John, her heart couldn’t let go of Peter. Their bond and friendship were pure and innocent. She can’t imagine being with anyone else other than Peter. They found their way back to each other yet again.
