The new trailer showed a captive Kong is being transferred to the city. He is the only hope of humanity. But, Kong doesn’t communicate with anyone except a little girl. Somehow, an orphan and Kong have formed a bond with each other, and Kong had vowed to protect her.
Kong is being held captive by the Monarchs, but he has evolved a lot since Kong:Skull Island. The trailer portrays Kong has developed a humanistic side by forming a connection with the little girl. He is much more powerful than his last appearance.
In the meantime, the citizens are scared as they can feel an unknown threat approaching. All of a sudden, they see Godzilla attacking the citizens. Godzilla is wreaking havoc and destruction on the city as Kong tries to protect the little girl. Kong is the only chance that humanity has against the wrath of Godzilla. The trailer features some serious action-packed scenes between Kong and Godzilla.
Why is Godzilla attacking the city?
Madison (Millie Bobby Brown) believes that Godzilla won’t attack anyone out of the blue. Something must have been provoking him, but they don’t know what. They’re seen talking about a myth of war. An ancient war took place between the two mightiest of creatures, and Kong and Godzilla are the only ones left of that race. This is a centuries-old rivalry between these two kinds that has resurfaced once again.

The star-studded cast of Godzilla vs Kong
