I had two episodes of seizure since I started taking this medicine. I am insulin-dependent diabetic and my doctor is aware. My kidney function is normal and is monitored with lab tests. I have an appointment to see my doctor next week and I will let her know about the seizure activity but I have not told her as yet. I am 69 years old, retired, and I have been insulin-dependent since I was 35.
My blood work after using this drug for a few weeks had three flags that were above the normal level. I have stomach aches, constipated, dizzy, headaches, a sore that popped out on my nose, and not feeling well since I started using it.
I took chlorathalidone for about one week, within days my stools turned yellow..and upon stopping the drug within 3 days i was back to normal evidently my liver did NOT like it at all …but that is not listed as one of the side effects.
